Hitler’s homeland – Austria – has just done what Hitler did.
The country’s leader – that word sounds better when expressed in German, in this context – has decreed that every man, woman and child in the country will submit to being “vaccinated” (serially) with drugs that do not immunize – else be treated very much as that other Austrian leader treated another class of Austrians, who were similarly denied their former right to participate in society. To work. To eat at a restaurant or patronize stores.
The prelude to treating them to something else.
Austrians who do not provide proof of impfung – of having been Jabbed – will also be subject to extortionate financial penalties intended to ruin them into compliance. These range from 600 to 3,600 euros – about $700 to $4,000 dollars. This sort of thing was also done to the undesirables in Hitler’s Reich, all those years ago.
Far more sinister, though, than the government of Austria applying such measures today is what’s implied for tomorrow by the acceptance of such measures. They are an overt expression of the official demonization of an identifiable class of people – who have been officially identified by the government as . . . undesirable. As dangerous. As a threat to the general public. It is exactly the same message which emanated from the Kroll Opera House on March 23, 1933 – when another chancellor announced a Law to Remedy the Distress of the People and the Reich. This was styled the Enabling Act and what it did was enable official, sanctioned apartheid in Germany. It also established – formally – the dictatorship that would rule Germany (and Austria) for the next twelve years. 
It was done peremptorily – just like that – in an atmosphere suffused with terror. Hitler sneered at the parliamentarians – the impotent democrats – who might object to any of this, advising them to “sanction that which we could have taken anyway.”
And so it began. It did not end until more than twelve years later. And now, it begins – again.
This time, not only with the full historical knowledge of where this sort of thing inevitably leads – in a country that of all countries ought to know that lesson of history better than any other country – but with full knowledge that these “vaccines” do not stop the spreading of the sickness that serves as the basis for forcing them on people.
Most Austrians – the generally accepted figure is more than 75 percent of the population – have already been injected with whatever’s in those syringes. Whatever it is having proven to be as useless at preventing people from getting or giving the sickness used as the justification for all this jabbing as a chain link fence is at thwarting the transit of mosquitos. 
Six months ago, one could make – one might take at face value – the promises made by politicians such as Joe Biden that the stuff in those syringes was in fact a vaccine.; i.e., that the Jabs provided immunity. Politicians promised that those who got injected would no longer have to worry about getting sick – or giving sickness. They would no longer need to wear “masks,” either.
This has all proved to be wrong at best – a deliberate misrepresentation at worst. It is inarguable that the stuff in those syringes – whatever it is – is not a vaccine as the people who are injected with whatever it is aren’t immunized. They can – they do – get sick. And they are the ones chiefly responsible for spreading the sickness – because the stuff in those syringes has given them a false sense of . . . immunity. They go out and about, casually spreading (and getting) the sickness they were led to believe they could not get nor spread.
The very asymptomatic spreaders that were once a main target of abuse by those bent on using the possibility of sickness to assure the certainty of their power.
It is very telling that “asymptomatic spreading” got memory-holed when it no longer served the purpose. When there was no “vaccine,” the unjabbed could be demonized as “asymptomatic spreaders” – so as to guilt-trip and (if that wasn’t sufficient) coerce them into getting “vaccinated.” But when it became undeniable that the Jabbed were still getting – and spreading – sickness – it became inconvenient to harangue about “asymptomatic spreading” . . . even though now there is probably more truth to it than there was before all of this Jabbing.
After all, before there were “vaccines” people knew they were sick – because their symptoms made that undeniable. Most of them either felt too ill to go out and about or felt bad about going out and about – and didn’t, not wanting to spread what they knew they had.
But now we have “vaccines” that make people feel not-sick. Or less sick. Which encourages the spread of sickness – the increase in the latter (“cases”) being used to justify forcing more “vaccination.” Which will almost certainly lead to more sickness. Quite possibly, something far worse. Ask an Austrian old enough to remember.
It is all pretty sick.
Will it take the people Austria twelve more years to understand this?

Worn by surgeons during surgery they are also useless. Small studies have suggested there is no difference between masked and unmasked post-surgery infection rates. They are a completely useless costume in all venues.
This actually makes sense as most surgical infections are staph type bacteria which is going to be on hands/tools not properly sanitized. A healthy surgical team is not going to ever be shedding pathogenic bacteria from their mouths/airways.

Agree, but what about the blood/fluid splatter? My understanding was that surgeons wore the masks for the prevention of bloodborne illnesses.
There has NEVER been a justification for wearing a mask to prevent respiratory illness, however.

This is very well-said; however, it does not apply exclusively to liberals – unfortunately. An excellent case in point being the “conservatives” who militantly defend their 2A rights (good on them!) but who will often at the same time denounce people like me for “speeding.” I had an ex-friend who was this way. Extremely pro-gun; he always carried. Had an arsenal of pistols and rifles of all types and would get outraged (rightly) whenever it was suggested that his right to own (and carry) these weapons be restricted or subjected to some “regulation” or other.
But he was a timid/fearful driver who would lecture me about my “speeding.” He would even say things like he hoped I got ticketed (hence his being an ex friend). Anyhow, I tried to make the point that his dread of my “speeding” was of a piece with the dread some people feel about guys like him who carry and have a lot of guns. Does their fear that he might go berserk and shoot someone or mishandle his weapons justify taking them away/denying hm the right to have them/regulating them – and so on? Of course not! It’s a constitutional right!
Yeah, well, I don’t think his fear of my “speeding” entitles him or anyone else to treat me as if I’d caused some harm when I haven’t. Especially when I can point to the objective fact that I haven’t – over the past several decades of “speeding.” At some point, I asked, shouldn’t my actual record of safe driving outweigh your fear about my driving?

I would like to posit the thesis that maybe, just maybe, people have learned the wrong lesson from the National Socialist regime of the 1930s and 1940s.

I think the trajectory in governments are predictable, far more so than in people. All are founded on the assumption of authority to kill you if you don’t obey. This does not attract sane people. The longer they are around the more psychopathic they become. Mostly sane people simply do not comprehend what such psychopaths might do, since we DO have at least some moral restraint. I think a great deal of the willingness of people to go along is the realization it’s much safer to agree with the Psychopaths In Charge, even dreaming up “virtuous reasons” for doing so. Even though far more have died under tyranny than have fighting it.
Much of Hitler’s platform/rhetoric was based on the United States’ western expansion, especially after the Civil War. Remember that was only about 60 years prior to the rise of the Third Reich. “Manifest destiny” was all about how God himself was telling Americans to go west and seek your fortune.

But the difference with the US and Nazi Germany was that the Nazis had radio and film, high speed printing presses and many other propaganda tools to promote their ideas to the German people. And more importantly, they had Edward Bernays’ work on Propaganda for crafting the message. They saw how the US population was so easily brought into support for the Great War. I have argued that the last legitimate war fought by the U.S. government was the War of 1812. A defensive war against a foreign invader. Since then all the wars have been aggressive or contrived. The two worst being the war levied by the federal government against the Southern states and then the U.S. involvement in WW I – a totally unjustified intervention done to prop up up British and American financial interests that led to a barbarous “peace” which almost certainly assured the rise of Hitler and WWII.
Not only is all of this appalling, morally – in terms of all the people killed – it gutted the American spirit by turning the American mind insane.
The War of 1812 was mostly an English response to the US plans to invade Canada, and annex all or part of it. So you can check that one off as well.

I agree with this statement. Government is just bullies in groups and is a concentration of basic human nature. I saw it working in local government and extrapolated the behavior down to individuals and all the way back up to federal government. Group bullying attracts certain types of individuals who thrive in that setting. Some enjoy taking advantage of the perks and feeling protected by the group’s power and others get off on exercising the power. Government also allows mediocre individuals who might not have been successful in the private sector to have access to power, prestige and money. Many of them have never worked at a real job. Picture your favorite 70 plus year old dipshit federal or state politician and try to picture them in the private sector.

There are some things I truly hate about growing older. The main one is how so many people are mentally ill and how they really hate people with opposing viewpoints. I profusely enjoyed my 40+ years living in LaLa Land. I knew bad people roamed the Earth, but I believed they were far from my circle. I believe my small bubble of the world was able to escape the thoughts of evil intent and wishing ill will on others. Oh, how wrong I was.
I recently visited a long-time client. The client and I have always been very amicable with each other. We have very opposing beliefs – my client is a self-proclaimed socialist and my beliefs trend toward libertarianism. Still, we worked well together. The client was never a fan of my unmasked grinning face showing up at their business and defying all federal, state, and local mandates, including their “Mask Required” signs which I flippantly ignored. I probably didn’t win too many brownie points either as I notified them that I was a proud Pureblood on top of it. We still maintained (I foolishly thought) “to each his own.”
At least until a few days ago, where I stopped in to pick up the client’s tax information. The client mentioned to me they were no longer accepting any clients that were not vaccinated. Of course, as the very logical woman that I am, I made the statement “Does it really matter since your staff is all vaccinated and if the vaccines truly work as the government tells us they do then it is unnecessary to push a vaccination requirement onto everyone else. If you are protected, why does it matter if someone else is not?” And there begins the snowball.
My client then declared that the world population was too many and a good 1/3 should die off anyway. They were tickled pink that the die off was occurring in red states. To be honest, I was a bit surprised hearing someone say this (especially out loud) within range of someone with very opposing views. I frowned and made the comment “I do not wish ill will on my fellow man and I do not wish death upon those with differencing sentiments than myself.” The client started backtracking. Maybe they realized they said too much or that the opposing viewpoint was standing across from them. Who knows, but I was pissed and saddened that million (maybe even billions) of people think like this. It was a wakeup call to my foolishly naive self. Evil exists and it is usually only a few steps away. How quick one would procure another’s death because they are do not see eye to eye in their perceptions of the world and how it should be.

I have lost some customers over this kabuki the last couple years. Easy come easy go. I even had one who wouldn’t let me do the job when I showed up and refused to wear a mask in his house. Recently, in a delicious twist of irony he called us and asked if I could come out. To fix the toilet he had someone else install, seems its loose and doesn’t flush right.
I wanted to call and rub his face in his stupid shit. Then after calming down I called him and said I’m booked out a month and he should have let me do the work when he had the chance. He said no problem as they have two, and one works fine, to call him when I get the time.
I won’t be calling him back, ever. And I won’t be doing any more jobs for him. I even removed him from our company Christmas card list.

No, I don’t work for them nor am I a client. I am an external third party. I am a chatter by nature. I stop in and talk with my clients. I ask how business is doing, the family, etc. My more talkative clients and I can be standing at the door for an hour exchanging stories. The client and I have always had a good repertoire. A very different belief system, but a Live and Let Live attitude. The change has only been recently as more Americans are choosing sides. I asked about business. The client stated that business was down. They then told me the changes that they are now enforcing. I basically said “Well, that is why business is down” and off to the races we went. 🙂
I am not quite sure I want to play the political party game. The majority of my clientele are quite liberal. Do I cut off my nose to spite my face? Or do I take the money and put it toward small businesses that support my views or donate it to causes I believe in? There may be a point where I throw up my hands and say, “I am done.” I am not there yet. Will I play Diaper Kabuki or be willing to get vaccinated for a client? Absolutely not. That is my line in the sand. If the client states I need to be vaccinated or refuses to deal with me without a cheap Chinese mask on to enter the premises, then we are done. I am not bending on that, but just because they wish me dead isn’t enough of a reason not to take their money. 😉

Customers that I am fond of, or who are truly interesting can sometimes get me to spend 15-20 minutes talking on the way out the door. Then I have to remind myself my hourly rate is going down, down, down. Still I catch myself having some great back and forth on occasion.

Good point! An interesting anecdote: My local blood bank used to test donors for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies but stopped once the vaccines were rolled out. Can’t have vaccinated donors receiving a negative antibody test!

Had a great conversation with a young employee at Taco Bell last night. He knows exactly what is going on, and his words to me were: “There are a lot of us that think that way.” There is hope for the future.
Interesting to me that so many countries are completely removing the “covid restrictions,” while others double down.
