It’s very difficult to kill a convicted criminal sentenced to death. It often takes decades – viz, Ted Bundy – and the convicted is typically given every last chance his victim(s) never had. But it’s pretty easy to just gun someone down in the street and walk away from it . . . if you’re one of the law’s enforcers.
Shane Iverson, an enforcer of laws in Rusk County, TX claimed to have seen Timothy Randall violate a traffic law. Randall supposedly didn’t stop (or stop completely) for a sign that the law says drivers must come to a complete stop in front of before proceeding. It is not clear whether Randall failed to obey that law. What is clear is that Iverson rolled in behind Randall’s car and initiated what is styled a “traffic stop.” Which means being forced to stop by an enforcer, so that he can issue a piece of paper from the state requiring the recipient to hand over money to the state as punishment for not obeying the law. It does not matter whether any harm was caused. What matters is that the law is the law.
But in this case, the punishment was more than just a ticket.
The enforcer informs Randall that he pulled him over for the stop sign violation. Randall calmly disputes the accusation. This immediately triggers rapid escalation. Iverson orders Randall out of his car – before even asking whether Randall has his license and registration. Randall complies with the enforcer’s order – which was probably unlawful in that ordering a cooperative motorist who’d pulled over without attempting to flee and who had done nothing else besides question the enforcer’s accusation to get out of his car seems unjustified by the circumstances.
If Randall had refused to provide his license or obey lawful commands justified by a minor traffic offense, then it could be argued that Randall triggered the escalation and that the enforcer’s actions were justified.
But that was not the case.
Iverson then orders hands up and begins to frisk the startled Randall who – again – had given no reason for the enforcer to regard him as a criminal.Any reasonable person would wonder why he was being handled this way. As in literally.
The creepy enforcer shoves his hands right down the front of Randall’s pants – touching Randall’s privates. This startles Randall, as it would any normal man who finds himself being touched that way by another man. When Randall flinches, Iverson tries to jerk Randall’s hands behind his back so as to manacle him – God only knows why. Again – as you can see for yourself – Randall is not acting in a threatening manner and hasn’t done anything to warrant either the frisk-fondling or the cuffing.
All the guy did – supposedly – was “run” a stop sign.
The enforcer then hurls Randall to the ground, a tactic commonly used by American enforcers, having been schooled in these dominance and submission techniques by Israeli enforcers. Again, this is – by any reasonable standard – grotesquely unnecessary. Unless, of course, the enforcer was planning to rape Randall – a possible motive given the creepy junk-touching that preceded this.
It soon get much worse.
Randall manages to free himself from the clutches of the enforcer and tries to run away. Whereupon he is shot dead through the heart by the enforcer. The words are italicized to emphasize an important fact, which is that it is generally considered murder when you shoot someone who is trying to get away from you. Especially if they are unarmed and you are – and they didn’t attack you.
Randall totters a few feet and crumples to the pavement, lifeless.
This murder was concealed for nearly two years – before the dashcam video you just watched was released to the public. Iverson the enforcer was not arrested. He has not been charged. His lawyers say “the deputy believed Randall was attempting to hide a small gun down the front of his pants, but said it was later found to be a pipe in an eyeglasses case.”
Iverson believed. The facts apparently do not matter. Randall – who was just 29-years-old – is dead. Iverson is living his life, having not merely escaped justice but taken a shit in its face.
Randall’s family is suing, understandably. They may be awarded millions for their loss, which will be paid for by the people who had nothing to do with the murder; i.e., the taxpayers of Rusk County, Texas.
What’s impossible to understand is how the man who murdered Randall is free.
But that’s how it goes when you have a get-out-of-jail-free card.
It’s called a badge.

Never call the agm’s for anything ever. They always seem to want to ramp up situations as opposed to defusing them. And god forbid you disagree with what they are spouting in a traffic stop. Not a pleasant video to watch heartbreaking for the family all over a idiot stop sign with not another car in sight.
My husband watches a show called OP Live. It’s kind of like COPS, but the bootlicking is more extreme. By the time the show is halfway in, I am so furious I’m seeing spots and my husband wants to banish me from the room because of my repeated indignant yells of “WT actual F?!!. They CAN’T do that.” If that show’s purpose is to create a cop-sympathetic audience, it has gloriously backfired with me. I don’t have much trouble with them, being a semi-decent looking white woman who has the money to keep all my ducks in a row (registration, insurance, lights all functioning, etc.)
I feel bad for the poorer people, like maybe she doesn’t have money for a license plate because she’s got kids to feed and rent to pay and without her car, she has even less money? So cop’s response is tow her car and send her walking down the road with her baby seat and diaper bag? How is this “protecting and serving?” Who is the victim?
I feel bad for the black victims, who are always pulled from the car and searched no matter how polite and cooperative.
And the cops always ask to search, even for a minor traffic issue. If the victim says yes, they are stuck there while some pudgy bastard paws through their stuff and makes remarks to the camera. If they say no, they call the dog, which takes 1/2 an hour and – imagine that – the dog always alerts and then back to option 1. It ‘s long past time to decriminalize weed. Everyone they stop has it. The public does not want pot to be illegal.
I never liked cops. I was harassed enough as a teenager in the 80s when the boomers didn’t want us doing the same things they just outgrew. But that show has made me actively hate them.
Amen, Amy –
We are, obviously, long past the Mayberry Days – or even the ’80s. Back then, cops at least dressed like cops rather than “operators” with body armor and so on. I suspect part of the reason they often behave they way they do now is because of the way they dress. If you put on a Batman suit, you tend to think you are Batman. Another factor is the “training”- to regard us as “threats? along with an overweening obsession with their “safety” – at our expense.
The root of the problem, though, is that we literally live in a police state. Because there are now so many “offenses.” O know I rant a lot about “buckle up” laws – but they are a fine example of this petty harassment of people. In the ’80s, you did not have to worry about being hassled by a cop because you weren’t “buckled up.” Now you do. It is astounding that cops concern themselves with such things. What’s next? Is your shirt properly buttoned up?
I miss the ’80s…
Is it a truism that a Vampire Economy eventually always becomes a Vampire Empire, setting upon even itself?
https://mises.org/mises-daily/vampire-economy-italy-germany-and-us
Benito Mussolini didn’t rise to power all by himself, he had millions of ~OP viewers cheering him on, wanting a Batman on every corner, in every store, everywhere looking over the shoulders of everyone, especially ‘the others’ & making them ‘pay’.
In the 1970’s, when I first saw the film, ‘Star Wars’ it was impossible for me to entertain the thought there were people in the audience cheering on Darth Vader. …It would be like cheering on Count Dracula in an older film.
…But wait, there’s a recent Dracula film, ‘Dracula: Untold’ (2014) where the audience is made to feel sympathetic to Count Dracula, to cheer him on as a hero.
… [cursor blinks].
I rarely watch these videos anymore, makes for too much anger.
This Iverson, how is he still walking free? what a piece of shit!
I swear, if anyone in my near and dear family was killed in this or any similar manner by anyone, much less a cop, that murderer would be d e a d. Cops included. Anyone can be got to.
Anyone. What a fucking pig!
He didnt even render assistance. Every one of his “brother” officers should hang their heads in shame and shun this guy. No business in the community should serve him, no one should talk to him. Run him out of the city, the county.
I do not fathom how this kids family can live with the hurt and frustration. And they are forced to pay the taxes that feed this system..this ass hat of a clown! See how mad I can get….watching these vids puts me in a murdering rage.
This should be an officer training video. That’s disgusting!
Accidentally flipping over the officer? Immediate death sentence. Could have fired below the waist but didn’t. That officer should rot in jail! He wanted a reason? Jesus Christ! AGWs make me sick!
Some steps to solution from JR Dunn at the American Thinker:
Every police department should be required to be equip officers with bodycams that film constantly and which cannot be turned off.
Any department refusing bodycams should be ipso facto suspected of corruption.
Footage of questionable incidents should be released to the public immediately. There is no need to withhold for a period of two years or more video evidence of a helpless old woman being battered by cops.
Footage of incidents must be carefully analyzed by third parties such as police oversight boards in order to identify, weed out, and terminate problem officers. It is likely that most incidents are caused by a very small cohort of bad cops. Eliminating these from the force should be a priority.
Police unions should have no say in these matters, and should be required to limit themselves to standard union concerns such as pay, benefits, and so on. As it is, there seems to be no situation, up to and including murder, in which police unions will not immediately come to the defense of criminal cops.
The practice of allowing criminal officers to resign rather than be fired, and then take a job with a force one town or county over, is endemic across the country and needs to be eliminated. These Typhoid Marys simply infect and degrade whatever police force they join. (This, needless to say, goes for problem cops identified by the analysis mentioned above.)
Serious effort needs to be taken by police academies to educate officer candidates on how to deal with the mentally ill and emotionally unbalanced. Such courses should be taught by mental health professionals.
De-escalation techniques must become a cornerstone of police protocol.
Auditing should be encouraged and paid close attention to. Police who cannot grasp the concept of constitutional rights are a bad sign, suggesting a need for closer examination.
“It is likely that most incidents are caused by a very small cohort of bad cops.” You must be delusional…
Sorry not being an asshole, but…none of your suggested reforms or steps would make any difference whatsoever.
The only real solution is to deputize every citizen in good standing, and disband police completely.
I’d rather live without police at this point.
Get rid of all criminal statutes and rely only on common law standards of procedure for crimes….must show an act that actually harms a person or their property before a suit can be brought…private prosecution in a public court with county officers enforcing decisions, or some kind of private crime insurance system….I am sick of police departments and would rather take my chances with criminals…never been hurt by one yet. and never been hurt by a cop yet, either. but damn….some things should never ever happen in a supposed Republic.
sorry….anger screws with my mental processes….so really need to stop watching these kinds of vids…
Hi Andy,
I’m with you. I’ve never had a criminal accost me and force me to hand over money; the government does so every several months. I’d rather just take my chances – and be able to legally defend myself against criminals.
Rusk County, Texas is where I spent the first four years of my life.
As the song by Queen goes, I was just a skinny lad; didn’t know no good from bad.
But when I grew up, I concluded it wad’nt the place for me.

If every citizen is a potential criminal, and the police view their job as keeping citizens safe, for whom exactly are they keeping it safe?
The potential criminal citizens?
That wouldn’t make sense.
2018 numbers:
population 16+ that was a driver during a traffic stop – 18,666,000 8.1%
Most recent police initiated contact that experienced threat of force (not limited to being a driver) – 2.8%
If those numbers hold (limited by the type of data collected) then 52,264 of us per year could end up like this guy.
Land of the free
Thanks to 9/11, cops and soldiers have become fetishized – which is necessary as part of government worship.
The world needs more Christopher Dorners than Luigis.
The way the system works the only way they get any justice is through a civil suit. Shooting people in the back is deemed acceptable by the enforcers.
No. You don’t get “justice” in the civil courts. What happens in the civil courts is that the government pays off the family to keep STFU. The victim is still dead, the cop and the government get to go on their merry way scot-free, and the taxpayers foot the bill.
You might not get justice in the courts, but…
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works….
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
My guess is the police investigation board determined the officer acted within department guidelines.
It’s going to get worse. The cops and all agencies Federal/State/Local believe they are at war with we the People. Training by Israhelli goons likely reinforces that.
There was zero reason in this case for the goon to pull his weapon. He started the tussle. He was not threatened and the person was unarmed running away. The badged goon is a cowardly back shooter.
The ‘grand jury’ apparently paid off in some way or threatened did not indict the badged goon. They should be ashamed of themselves but then shame no longer exists in American governments or its goon squads called law enforcement or for that matter most of its people.
Emperor Trumps latest project,,, genocide a people then take their property and homes to build casinos and hotels actually brought standing ovation from many government officials. I fail to see how that makes america great….
We are all Palestinians, now…
One of those situations where you shoot first and ask questions later. Cruel and heartless, not good choices to make.
One question: How does one hunt down the skunk who plugged the victim?
Hanging is too good for him.
Hogtie his feet, tie the rope to the saddle horn and let him have one last ride. Leave him in the hot Texas sun, the buzzards can have a feast. Then over to the wood chipper, complete the task.
Some of your own medicine will dispense justice.
The Ogre at the Gates of Hell will give the murdering fouled soul special instructions from Satan himself.
Time will not be kind to the no good goon.
This is just a thought…
If I were the victim’s family, I would bide my time, while getting to know the murderer pig’s habits and movements.
At an opportune time, corral the murderer pig and exact “justice” upon him.
A .22 caliber shot to a particular spinal vertebrae would render the murderer pig a paraplegic or quadriplegic depending on the vertebrae severed.
Put the son-of-a-bitch into a wheelchair or hospital bed for the rest of his sorry life.
Find out what extended care facility he is in and torment him for the rest of his sorry life.
THAT would be partial justice rendered.
Reminder: This is just a thought…
Well, that was infuriating! Shoots the guy in the back and has the gall to waddle over and pant ‘dude, you OK?’ The brains on this guy…what compassion!
I also wonder why the video didn’t show the alleged traffic ‘crime’ that ‘justified’ this murder? Was that a fabricated pretense? Sadly, if the victim indeed had a pipe, that and his ‘disobedience’ will be enough for most Americans to be perfectly fine with the way this unfolded. Gotta take your Drug War ‘victories’ where you can these days!
Besides the (exceedingly unlikely) total dismantlement of the American police state, one of the few workable solutions I’ve heard of involves mandating police officers to carry what amounts to malpractice insurance. They do something stupid or evil one too many times and become uninsurable and thus unemployable in LE.
Unfortunately, per the status quo, should the family win the suit (hard to say in Texas) the taxpayers will foot the bill and the officer will likely get a paid vacation. If there is any justice, the process of atonement and restitution absolutely demands that state-sanctioned criminals pay out of their own pockets.
P.S. – Agree with Useranon99, this is unlikely to improve with Trump in power. He’s on record declaring his desire to ‘give the police their power back’ while ‘granting them immunity from prosecution.’ Admittedly, I don’t know if his utterances were pre- or post-‘underwear snipe hunt’ but don’t have time to investigate just now and doubt it matters much anyway. Regardless, with the notable exception of Ron Paul and a few others, the GOP has been rife with rabid statists and various bootlickers for the duration of my lifetime. I don’t expect that to change anytime soon.
Hi Vincent,
I agree with both those suggestions – and would go a little farther, too. Cops ought to be held to a higher standard than “civilians” as regards abiding by the law. After all, they ought to know what “the law”is – and ought to be bound by it, especially as regards the use of deadly force. If you or I draw a gun on someone – even if all we do is draw the weapon – it is a felony. If I shot and killed someone who was trying to run away from me, who in no way “threatened” me, I’d have been arrested immediately and (rightly) charged with murder. If anyone can explain to me why this cretin in a uniform ought not to be charged with murder, I’d love to hear it.
I’ll let the Alabama state police dude who blew past me (sans lights and sirens) this morning know he’s held to a higher standard. If I do, I’ll likely end up with the same fate as Mr. Randall.
Back the blue be dammed.
I come back on this one. As Trump has come back in power, and is now ruling only by decree (illegally according to the constitution), this kind of summary executions and abuses (like sending illegal aliens to Guantanamo), will become more common.
I just wanted to share this excellent article about what is really going on and what Orange man the guy who was so proud of ‘warp speed’ and getting the peasants shot with mRNA poison is really up to:

Sorry your post got hung up in moderation; we get inundated by spam and I do my best to make sure the not-spam gets through!
Unfortunately for Randall, he was white, otherwise we would have had 6 months of riots and a statue plus the ‘badge’ would still be in jail.
There is a reason why in many countries, goons in uniform don’t have the right to carry guns. It’s not because they are better cops, but to avoid abuses like this.
“To Protect and Serve”, if it ever was real, should be replaced with “Comply or Die”.
This sort of “Israeli-ization” won’t end until the current structure falls. What will replace it is anyone’s guess at this point. God only knows how Trump will deal with this militarization of cops that started under Reagan. Maybe he’ll see that we are becoming as nasty at home as we are overseas and end it. One can hope.
Keep your powder dry.
Someone from Randall’s family should track this murderer down and execute the rat bastard.
>Someone from Randall’s family should track this murderer down and execute the rat bastard.
Or hire a professional. I’ve read that (at least some) pros are good at leaving no evidence.
With Trump in office don’t expect this to get any better. He is a cop-sucker to the extreme, so this is one area he won’t be doing anything to improve. It is crazy how we’ve gotten to this point and seemingly nobody cares. It happens WAY more than people realize but Americans are basically sheep at this point so I suppose not surprising too.
I’m not so sure. After the FBI went through Melania’s underthings I’m guessing he’s not quite as gun ho on law and order, at least not so much for snipe hunts like what most “random” traffic stops escalate into. Only difference may be that to him, appearances matter. So if you look like a gangbanger, you’ll be treated like one (unless vetted by having millions of followers, of course).
The left has a point too, but unfortunately they had to make it all about race and reparations instead of getting cops to be reasonable.
