Florida ‘Officer Of The Year’ Arrested On Child Porn Charges

Michael Harding, 'Officer of the Year' phot

Port St. Lucie Officer Michael Harding was arrested Tuesday evening after Homeland Security investigators found child pornography on his Kik messenger app.

As it turns out, the 27-year-old married father of three, had posted the child porn while inside his police cruiser – while on patrol. Officer Michael Harding was uploading the explicit material to a Kik chatroom called #toddlerfu*k.

An investigator with Homeland Security accidently stumbled onto some posts made by Harding under his online name, destheabovee, which showed underage girls performing sex acts with men. The investigator determined that the IP address associated with the uploads/posts belonged to Harding’s cell phone number.

Later, a search of Harding’s home turned up a thumb drive that was hidden in a gun case inside his bedroom. That drive contained hundreds of child porn images and videos. Another thumb drive was found, but the images had been deleted. Techs were able to recover the deleted images, which contained 23 more sexually explicit pictures.

The images found were of pre-school and prepubescence boys and girls.

During the federal court hearing Wednesday morning in Fort Pierce, he was formally charged with sending and receiving child porn, which is a minimum of five years and maximum of 20 years in prison.  Officer Harding was also denied bond, with the judge saying that Officer Harding is a danger to the public.

Port St. Lucie Police Chief John Bolduc said that Officer Harding has been on paid leave since he became aware of the investigation, but that he is now on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of his trial.

2012Harding was named Fort Pierce Police Officer of the Year in 2011. He joined the Port St. Lucie Police Department in 2012. Harding was also shown in this photo, under the heading that states “St. Lucie County’s Officers of the year 2012”

Ironically, Officer Harding received a ‘letter of appreciation’ from the Juvenile Restorative Justice Initiative.

Russia emerges as the leader of Western Civilization.

On paper, they are a Federation structured almost exactly like France.

But quite unlike France and the rest of the West, Russia’s bad credit forces them to pay as they go, and affords them no fiat central bank magic powers to influence homeland matters nor help them deal with their rivals abroad.

Which works out quite nicely, really. The Russian Federation no longer having any economic superpowers any more.

What Russia does seem able to do is use simple hardnosed actions to do the right thing and to remain on the good side of it’s own citizens and enough of the powerful nations worldwide, that there able to survive in this world of subterfuge and deception.

  3. The world’s most populous muslim country, and the world’s most populous christian country, are no different from each other.

Each is a values dictatorship, where men are not permitted to choose individual household moral values, but must instead replicate the central authoritarian-imposed fatwas of officials.

Here’s Dewi Persik, from one of those Judeo-Christian Leviathans, a belly dancer and dangdut singer. She’s been embroiled in several national scandals, related to her stage persona and personal life.

She has Chinese ancestry but was born and raised in an Islamic household. She became famous for her “saw move”, so named because it resembles the back and forth movement of a saw.

Persik underwent hymen reconstruction surgery in As-Salam Hospital, after going on the hajj. She said that she didn’t want to “disappoint her future husband”; she noted that she was proud of her secondary virginity.

After facing incredulity, she produced medical records to prove that she was “officially” a virgin.

Whether practicing or secular Judeo-Christian valued, you should of course hate her, as you would any Kardashian.

Because official societal values, soldiers, and tanks and things. And of course, it’s the right thing to do, and it’s not that you’re a mindless automaton coward.

During 2008, Dewi caused controversy because of her “vulgar” movements and outfits” while performing onstage and was banned from performing in several major cities.

One mayor said her “sexually provocative” movements did not qualify as art or culture. Later, she apologized and promised to keep her performances tamer, after which the Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs decreed she should be respected for “admitting her mistake”.

In 2010, she again raised controversy after several nude pictures of her were released online. The Islamic Defenders Front reported her to the federal police, alleging that the pictures violated the 2008 Federal Law prohibiting “actions deemed indecent: Including, but not limited to, public acts such as spouses kissing, women showing their navels or shoulders, and people sunbathing in bikinis or swimwear.

One of Dewi’s films. Warning, vichy culture clovers might find it offensive.

  5. I don’t trust the average person to make his own choices. Or to work out for themselves, how to handle such tricky subjects as “sexualized media depicting children”, therefore I want everyone subjugating his own judgment to that of an external law-making authority. As long as it’s a reasonable authority, that only breaks legs and confiscates property as a last resort.

I trust most of you here, but you’re not the majority, unfortunately.

But I’m no Red Team or Blue Team guy. Nor neocon, or traditional value upholder paleocon.

I consider myself libertarian because I hold to the principle that authority can’t just be arbitrary and unlimited, so I want the common people–who themselves can’t be trusted–to choose other people to be the authority.

That way all the people who would behave like violent, wild animals can select the best and brightest among them to force the rest to behave in a proper manner.

Because while I don’t trust the average person to run his own life, I do trust him to choose someone to run everyone else’s life. Because I am a statist. And I haven’t gotten around to questioning all the patently insane bullshit I was taught when growing up.

I like to hedge my bets, see. I’m all for pure anarchy and a true free market when it makes sense. But I’m also open to discussing how to best run this slaughterhouse insane asylum system of enforced behavior and bundled groups of human beings strategically thrown on the national fire when absolutely necessarily to stoke the flames of our economy and keep us being number one so the ramparts keep launching.

Class conflict, also frequently referred to as class warfare or class struggle, is the tension or antagonism which exists in society due to competing socioeconomic interests and desires between people of different classes.

Having just watched the film Everest, I know I would never go somewhere with such a high density of insufferable douchebags, as Mount Everest.

No place, no matter how remote, is safe from the clover class. From capitalists and socialists. Feminists. Racists and rainbow inclusionists. From everybody everywhere, turning nearly untamed nature, into just another human zoo, and disgusting tourist trap, consumerist cattle drive.

The view that the class struggle provides the lever for radical social change for the majority is central to the work of Karl Marx and the anarchist Mikhail Bakunin. Bastiat, Say, and others did it far better, but are not as widely known.

The existence of class struggle is not the product of communist theories; their theories can instead be seen as a response to prior existence of class struggles. Surely in some instances, for some people communism was helpful and did free somebody.

It sure has served as an effective boogeyman for individualisms though. Everywhere now, there are people and authority, there are perceived classes in competition. Owners. Proprietors. Customers. Sherpas. Tourists. Families. Christians. Muslims. Workers. Loafers.

Also the wars of terror. Of secular and religious people. Of homelands versus roving traders and manufacturers. There seems to be a perceived war against all war going on in many dimensions.

Never does it enter anyone’s mind, that we’re not in competition with each other. That we need not divide ourselves into classes. That whatever even someone else who posts here, is in no real way necessarily connect to us.

Advertisers. Spammers. Trolls. Site contributors. Freeloaders. Smart commenters. Dumb commenters. Everyone is to be classified, labeled and dealt with as some class or another, it seems.

The first step to not being cattle, is not believing that this class allocating behavior is important or necessary. To suspend the delusion that golden rules based on ephemeral beliefs emerge into reality.

Rules surely exist and are helpful, if and only if they have demonstrable proven results that can be measured. Principles matter and are a help, if and only if they often bring good results to those who hold them, at least in the long run.

Surely in some ways, it serves useful purposes for individuals to recognize patterns and tendencies. But when as a group, we all subjugate ourselves to whatever jointly perceived class situation we find ourselves in. Including at this blog.

Well to the extent we do this, and stop paying attention to fellow individuals. It is to this extent we become contemptible cattle ourselves, IMO.

    • Tor, true communism has never existed anywhere I’m aware of. I don’t think it would work, even if every single person got the same as the next but that has yet to happen that I’m aware of. It certainly didn’t in any country I can recall that supposedly had communism. There was always the elite and their enforcers and caretakers who lived a much better life. Also, it always kept a country to the lowest common denominator as well. I suspect some regions were close to communism but there is always some ruling class who have a portion of population they keep to a much better lifestyle than the rest.

      • I’m not sure I even have a dog in the “fight” of communism, versus capitalism.

Communism seems to only take partial root in homogeneous populations, where nearly all are ethnically identical. (no one is ideally commie, each nation is unique)

If true, it means the US, and India, are probably immune from communism as an national system.

What I do know, is that I despise non-self-aware “cattle-ism” by whatever name you give it.

  7. This isn’t about sentencing guidelines but looking at the time he faces I’m struck that it’s nearly as bad as victimless crime sentencing.
