It is no longer necessary to mandate “masks.” Millions wear them willingly. Some will probably never take them off.
It does not matter to these people that everything us misinformationists said over the course of the past two years has not only been proven to be true but in many cases, acknowledged to be true. For instance:
The Science – which urged the urgent necessity of wearing anything, so long as the wearer’s face was “masked” – has admitted that using a bandana or wood shop dust “mask” to cover your face is a pointless gesture – theater – and never did and never could “stop the spread.”
We know now that the hospitals were never “overwhelmed.” Rather, they were understaffed. Even so, they never “over-flowed.” Even in New York City, where the hospital ship sent by the Orange Man to accommodate the “overflow” sat empty.
We know that the lethality of the virus strongly correlates with age and infirmity. That youth and health constitute a very real form of immunity. That it was therefore never necessary to “lock down” people who weren’t aged or infirm. That The Science deliberately misled people into being terrified of a general threat which never existed.
We know that effective and safe (but open source and inexpensive) treatments – and those who dared to prescribe or even discuss them – were malignantly slandered by The Science.
We know we were lied to about “vaccines” that weren’t “95 percent effective” and weren’t even vaccines. That people who took them could – and did – still get sick and spread sickness, because they weren’t immunized.
That the people who were “hesitant” to take these “vaccines” on the recommendation of the same Science which lied to them about “masks” and the true nature of the threat posed by the virus were right to be “hesitant.”
We know that a vicious campaign of suppression and discrediting has been directed at people such as Dr. Robert Malone, one of the key scientists directly and arguably most specifically involved in the creation of the MRNA technology undergirding the “vaccines” and who for that reason has more standing to discuss them than “scientists” such as the bureaucrat doctor-who-doesn’t-even-practice-medicine.
We know that “vaccinating” children makes as much medical sense as laying a new roof on top of a roof that doesn’t leak. And that forcing kids to wear “masks” is child abuse.
We know that the virus has largely shot its wad at this point. That the latest “variant” is a threat to most people on the order of the common cold. 
We know all of this – but the Face Diapered Forever don’t want to hear about it. They have an emotional need to keep wearing the symbol of their sickness, which also serves to show solidarity with others who share it. They form a kind of community – in the manner of Hare Krishnas in their saffron robes.
But the Krishnas were never more than a harmless curiosity, a kind of side-show. One saw them at airports – and they seemed happy enough – unlike the “masked,” who marinate in sorrow and fear.
The Krishnas danced and shook their tambourines; asked for a donation, sometimes. But they never demanded you shave your head and don a saffron robe.
Can the rest of us coexist with millions of angry, fulminating Sickness Krishnas?
In my neck of the Woods – Southwest Virginia, about 30 miles from the city of Roanoke – about a third (and sometimes, half) of the people you see at the supermarket are Sickness Krishnas, steadfastly wearing the symbol of their faith. That they have not taken it off at this point indicates they will probably never take it off.
This is logical – according to the strange logic of the Sickness Krishnas. Which is that the possibility of any sickness warrants – requires – the wearing, forever amen. It is probable we’ll have to learn to live with the sight of these Sickness Krishnas practicing their faith, without end.
This – by itself – would merely be unpleasant. Like the sight of a homeless schizophrenic pushing his shopping cart full of dirty clothes and debris down the street. But there were never enough of them to form an army – or support a political movement. As such, they were – like the Krishnas at the airport – something you crossed to the other side of the street to avoid having to deal with.
But millions of Sickness Krishnas? That presents something more unsettling. Millions of people who cling to the tenets of a bizarre faith, immunized against facts which might cause them to question their faith. Who fervently believe that not only are they on the side of the angels but that we – the apostate unmasked – are a mortal threat to their well-being and peace of mind.
We can live with them. But can they live with us?

Came across an article today about all the restaurants in Chicago that are closed permanently due being forced closed by the city government in 2020. Of course the article notes that they were lost due to covid19, not the actual cause, the overreach of our rulers. Many more are still being lost due to lack of business due to mask mandates, vac requirement etc.
I used to eat regularly in the city with friends before the economic crash in 2008-9. At the time of the crash the city stupidly increased the sales tax to 10.25% on restaurant meals and increased the cost of parking by quite a bit. So we largely moved to eating in the suburbs to keep the cost down. By the time covid hit, we rarely met for meals in restaurants (many also had moved out of the area due to jobs disappearing). I haven’t had a restaurant meal in the city of Chicago probably going on five years now. At this point I don’t see myself ever eating in the city again.
The list unfortunately is enormous and numbers in the hundreds. Most are non-chain place of course, owned and run by small time entrepreneurs. Some restaurants were classic places that had survived decades in spite of being in Chicago. Even before covid, the business climate for small business was already pretty bad. You largely cannot get into the business with a food truck in the city, as they may as well be banned due to the regulations on them. I know food trucks are huge now in many places in the US, but certainly not in Chicago.
I live in Northwest Indiana (which is basically the southeast suburbs). Indiana largely relaxed the rules over a year ago already so we lost far fewer places. The funny thing now, is the bus tours from the city that come out to our micro breweries. Most of the microbreweries are out here, also due to lower regulation in Indiana. In the city its still a fairly new trend (and difficult to start), but its been a thing here since the mid 1990’s.

We have a good amount of microbreweries where I live. They were just a few of the places that kept our little town (and me) sane throughout the Plandemic. Most are located on farms and back roads that most people couldn’t locate without Google Maps. It was nice to sit outside with a cold beer and a cheeseburger and forget that Hell existed 10 miles away.
That’s a bummer that Chicago gives the food trucks such a hard time to get up and running. They have some of the best cuisine. One entrepreneur in my town recently opened a coffee bar (drive up food truck). The owner is super nice (hails from Montana) and makes one of the best dirty chais I have ever had. I won’t lie, it makes me smile that Starbucks now has competition.
Thankfully our rulers allowed microbrew (and other alcohol) “carry outs” during the worst of it. Otherwise we probably would have lost some of them. We did lose the restaurant of the largest and best known brewer here (3 Floyds). They had been hoping to expand to Chicago, but the red tape had stopped them in their tracks. It may have saved them in this case, had they managed to open it would have been at the worst time. Pretty sure the Chicago expansion is cancelled now. If I was one of their investors I would make sure it was. I think the local restaurant may come back in some different form.

In my area, the best local restaurant (I’m friends with the owner) was put out of business by the “lockdowns” and subsequent Kabuki requirements which required the owner to operate at half capacity (and no bar seating) because of “social distancing.” He bled money for as long as he could but ultimately had to close down. My friend the owner lost his business; numerous servers and cooks lost their jobs. The local people who sold him meat and produce lost a steady customer and we lost a great place to eat and hang out.

I mentioned above the ruination of my friend Ben’s restaurant, the Bent Mountain Bistro. It infuriates me to think about what happened to him – and to us, the people in the community who will never get to eat another wood-fired pizza or any of the other excellent fare once on offer. Then I think about the Sweet Donkey Coffee shop I used to go. I hope they do go out of business – on account of their hypocritically zealous embrace of Kabuki when it was convenient for them. Unlike Ben – a man who never played along – the people who own the coffee shop were very happy to skirt the “mandates” and “guidelines” when it suited. But when it no longer did, they became disgustingly punctilious about it, especially the Face Diaper kabuki. I wrote about this at length at the time. I will smile if I see that joint on the block. But probably not – because they cashed in on ‘Rona “relief” (unlike Ben, who wanted no part of that) and because they have legions of Diaper-wearing cultists who support them.
A friend of mine confronted one of these restaurant owners playing games with the relief money (cutting hours and staff to a level he could get handouts), he asked him why he closed so early/opened late? He then said…..we’re playing games with relief funds are we, the owner mumbled something and scurried away….very funny….
Thanks to the no visitors allowed permit parking, the high cost of parking, the speed cameras, the red light cameras, the loss of lines between ‘safe’ and ‘dangerous’ areas, and a few other things there’s really only one thing for me to go into the city for now and covidian law killed it.

It’s the high cost of GARAGING a car in Jew York. There are folks that “pahk” their cars in “Joisy” or upstate b/c it’s a lot cheaper. It helps if you have family in the ‘burbs.

Especially early on, when we were open but Chicago wasn’t, all the local places were crammed full of Illinois people who just wanted to go out to eat.

I worry about this as well. If the tyrants succeed in Canada, the tyrants here will be emboldened. What’s especially striking to me is that this is happening as the “mandates” have all but disappeared here. Along with the fear. There is a pathologically-forever-“masking” cohort of very sick people – I’d estimate about 30 percent of the population – but the rest of us are over this.

They’ll have more trouble force-“testing” (and “vaccinating”) for AIDs because it essentially impossible to get this if you are celibate or in a monogamous relationship. If there’s anything more idiotic than wearing a “mask” it is expecting long-married couples to get “tested” for AIDs.
Judging by the aftermath of Jan 6 and the events unfolding up in Canada, I think it’s safe to say now that none of this ever had anything to do with sickness. It was *always*, I believe, an exercise (orchestrated by the UN/WHO/other globalist “agencies”, not just in the US) to see how far people could be made to go as far as unquestioningly doing as they’re told. So…wearing useless face diapers, standing on taped stickers on the floor, dodging other people to stay “six feet apart”. taking “vaccines” that weren’t even remotely proven and otherwise looking and acting like complete idiots…well, they got their answer. 🤨
As far as how it “ends”, I say about 20 percent of people (just from my own observations) will probably literally wear face diapers the rest of their lives. Enforcement as “mandates” and “policies” will likely get more and more lax as people just get tired of policing them. The fence-sitting, go-along-to-get-along types will claim they “knew all along” it was a farce and that they’ll never trust the government again, at least until the next “crisis” they’re frightened with. Meanwhile, government overreach will have increased to levels that will be very difficult, if not virtually impossible, to roll back.

What you need to watch out for are those who know it’s all BS but are simply acting politically for “the Left.” The whole scamdemic is part and parcel of a much greater plan of social engineering and some folks (at least equal to the 20% go along get alongs) benefit, are fully on board, and would kill you and yours to see the plan come to fruition. I had to bark at my sister over this when she visited and we went to see our mom at the prison for the elderly. She reflexively reached for the god-damned thing as we approached the door – without anyone demanding she wear it. I told her to put the filthy thing away; she did. Masks required in the plant. Pretty much everyone wears them but most in desultory fashion. Outside the plant, no one really cares, probably a corporate policy. One person at work with a sore throat & difficulty talking, again no one cared. (Probably could not get by with this at my normal workplace, even yet).
This is discouraging, as it indicates that more than likely even when Governor Lardass removes the requirements at the end of this month, the corporate mofos are still running scared for some reason (the state I visited was among the first to actually get rid of mask requirements, and the area was fairly rural, well outside the Big Peach.
At least I saw daffodils in full bloom in some yards, and the grass was greening up some.
I would also note that I lived in the Big Peach for a couple years a little we more than a decade ago. There was a homeless problem back then too, but it has clearly exploded & now it is a hundred times worse, if not a thousand. All the overpasses were completely filled up with tents in one area. And the whole encampment smelled like weed, I could smell it driving through on the interstate. I don’t believe this would have been tolerated when I was living there.

I haven’t determined if the rescinding of the vax mandates by Dem cities or are part of evil intent (blame the non-masking and non-mandates when many people start passing at substantial rates) or just pure greed, they noticed the coffers have been dwindling which is what normally happens when you decide to pass regulations that kill businesses. As of right now, I am anticipating that tax revenue has dropped substantially.
The Karens and Kens are just mentally sick. There will never be a time that is right for them. They thrive on the drama that it entails and enjoy seeing everyone else walking around as miserable as they are.

Eric, I have to correct you. The severe covid19 & death rate amongst the elderly was correlated to how well they and or their caretakers complied with CDC recommendations. Some Nursing homes put N95 masks on the residents, sprayed sanitizer, put hazmat suit on the staff, and banned visitors/outings to keep everyone safe. These things caused everyone to die. My grandma is over 90 with some co morbidities and she is fine cause she goes outside every day and doesn’t wear masks or take vaccines. Just supplements and perscripton blood thinners. Also she’s in so cal. I don’t think she would go outside in rain, snow and cold. If northern places wanted to end the pandemic, they could have daily mall walks for the old people and open the gyms/tanning salons to full capacity, drop all oppressive mandates, cause movement is an essential part of life.

They lost the will to live – and such extreme depression does correlate with the decline of physical health.
I – like most – don’t claim to know exactly what “COVID” is – or whether it is something other than just another flu, perhaps more virulent than usual. I suspect I picked it up at a funeral visitation about three weeks ago. Many people there were masked, and as anybody with a brain should know by now, if you’re infected that turns you into a walking COVID mosquito fogger. You’re blowing out your contaminants at higher velocity (through the gaps), and more of it in aerosol form (your built-up spit being forced through pores in the fabric and dispersed exactly as medicine is in a mesh nebulizer).
It started out just like the last time I had the flu about 12 years ago: a fever that made it really hard to get out of bed. After a couple of days it seemed to be getting better, but then it came back and just wouldn’t go away, so I visited a local urgent-care. Minor respiratory symptoms, but very very tired.
Btw, I much prefer doing to an urgent-care facility because they are typically staffed by nurse-practitioners instead of MDs. I’ve yet to meet a NP who wasn’t humble, helpful and nice. Doctors nowadays are mostly dicks. More interested in scolding than helping.
You’re right about the fresh air and sunshine. It was nice enough last week to walk around outside, and that helped a lot. I hope to get out more this week before the next winter storm hits. Looks like it’s going to be a while before I’m strong enough to resume my four-mile run/walk routine.

Yes, “every other flu” is exactly right. The last time I had it, the symptoms were identical, except that the extreme weakness lasted only a few days. Obviously I’m a lot older now, so it makes sense that any bug will keep me down longer.
They did a flu test and a covid test. Flu was negative and covid was positive. The scrap of paper with the results does not say what kind of covid test it was, just that it was positive.
I’ve been saying all along that people should ask themselves whether, lacking the political/media hype, and based only on their personal experience, they would have suspected that anything unusual was up. In my case the answer is a resounding no. I would have thought, “Boy the flu sucks when you’re 69,” and moved on.

At Dr. Peter McCullough’s recommendation I ordered some povidone iodine to have on hand in case I developed cold or flu symptoms, but it took so ridiculously long to get it that I couldn’t start using it until several days after the fever developed. Speaking of people who have large houses, I read that the Queen of England, who is 95, has COVID, with only “mild symptoms.” I guess Her Majesty is otherwise healthy, haven’t heard otherwise.
Personally, although yes, the masks are absolutely an overt symbol of submission and complicity, it’s far more terrifying to me that over half of the people in this country – tens of millions in fact – as high as 64% if you believe the “official” numbers and even higher if you count “partial” vaccinations (although I don’t trust the official statistics and believe they’re being artificially inflated in some cases) rolled up their sleeves and got an experimental injection full of toxic ingredients that have caused over a million adverse reactions (that we know of) AND have directly led to tens of thousands of premature deaths. I’m starting to change my thought about masks. I used to loathe maskers for the act of wearing a mask. Not so much anymore. While I still loathe them for being foolish morons, I now realize that masks are their way of publicly identifying as morons.
These morons were always out there, but we didn’t have a quick and foolproof way to differentiate them from non-morons. Occasionally we’d get fooled, only to find out a particular member of society is in fact a moron. In some cases this discovery process could take up precious time and energy. I wish it was that simple, but I don’t think it is. I know some quite intelligent people who are mask-maniacs and morbid germophobes. Note that I say they’re “intelligent;” I do not say their mental function is normal or healthy, because it isn’t. An example: I’ve noticed a correlation — a weak one, but still there — between being a very good musician and being at least a little “spergy.” In the same way, I think there might be a correlation, also weak, between IQ and germophobia.
As the commies knew (and, regrettably, still do), only the intelligentsia will fall for certain kinds of bullshit. “Regular” people know it by its smell.

I realized a long time ago that intelligence and common sense do not necessarily correlate. Also that being intelligent in the IQ sense does not mean one automatically respects facts – including contrary ones.
One finds such people fairly regularly among specialists, including high-order ones such as doctors. I suspect it is a function of that specialization. Of being invested from a young age in a kind of religion as regards their profession and its merits – and also in the crippling of the cognitive/speculative/reasoning faculty in people generally performed by government schools.

Whether there were 20%, 30%, or 40% of us out there who refused to jab, it was enough to sink the economy…the hospitals, the restaurants, small to large businesses, etc. Many were terminated from their jobs and now we are seeing in less than 60 days’ time that the 60, 70, or 80% that did get jabbed still need us.
The mandates that were put into effect last December was the Hail Mary from the left. They were hoping that those who feared for their security (whether job, health, or livelihood) would be willing to get off the bench and for about 5-10% of the unwilling it worked. The friend I mentioned – who has a GF who got Jabbed – is facing a real conundrum. He loves her, but is very downcast about her decision to get Jabbed without having discussed it with him first. Trust was damaged. And he is also leery about being physical with her, for reasons that strike me as sensible – at least until we know precisely what these “vaccines” are and do.
Not to strike a match on an already burning fire, but he may love her, but does she love him? One does not deceive one that they love, especially when it comes to important matters such as the health of everyone involved.
Trust, once broken, is a hell of a thing to repair. Not to say it cannot be done, but if a partner is willing to go behind your back what stops them from doing it in the future?

This will put their kids in contact with other kids, raised right. So far, I have yet to meet a home-schooled kid who wasn’t mature beyond their years, articulate, polite and responsible. As to finding sane late teens women/girls try engineering school. Seriously almost all the few marriageable women I’ve met in my life I met in engineering school.

You might already know but it’s rarely discussed that all of these masks, regardless of type, continually shed fibers. Just like your load of clothes in the dryer just less concentrated — there’s no lint trap in your mouth. I watched a video yesterday where some junior gesundheitfurhrer lisped on about how, despite admittedly no medical usefulness, NYC had developed a “culture” of masking where people called out others who were noncompliant and how that was a good thing for public health. I’ve seen a suggestion of creating a “culture of masking” bandied about in my own state. Personally, the homeschool group we are in, has been, and is continuing to create the opposite, a culture where masking is not acceptable. It is not a live and let live situation, particularly because child abuse is never ok. We had a situation where a new Mom showed up with her 8 year old both wearing the latest gov issued face speedos. We told them, “we’re not sick” and “you are not required to wear that for us and in fact, our group does not wear masks period.” The Mom replied, “but we’re from (big city in state).” We told them, “irrespective, if you wish to continue wearing masks, it might be best if you leave now.” They left.
Love it! Re the “live and let live” – I agree that it is time to dispense with that notion. It is only exploited by those who refuse to live and let live. We haven’t had a lot of friction re diapers in our homeschool community, but also haven’t kicked anyone out (yet) who wants to diaper. (Mercifully, there are only a couple.) Your experience is a good reminder of why we need to be ever vigilant, lest those who “choose to mask” become powerful within our homeschool group.

Here’s something else to consider: there are some who claim that upwards of 80-to-85% of jab recipients got a placebo or saline injection. I try to err on the side of conservatism until I know otherwise, so I am looking at this as an effort to establish de facto (and even de jure) universal or near-universal regular “vaccination” – not just this “vaccination.” Not to kill off people per se but rather to fleece them (billions for the pharmaceutical cartels) and establish the principle of government-corporate intervention in your medical affairs. That said, there’s no question these “vaccines” are risky – far more so than the risk of the sickness supposedly palliated, for young/healthy people at least. And we also know they’re not even “vaccines” as once understood since they do not impart immunity.
